Two basic categories exist for the treatments of our fabric:It is important to understand that since specific requirements and conditions vary from one end use to another (from a rubber compounding or fabrication standpoint) it is sometimes difficult to ascertain the best treatment that applies out of each category above. The best way to determine what fabric and treatment will suit your needs is for us to submit samples and perform trials under actual production conditions, after which we can standardize to your specifications.
The following general information and product specifications should be a guide toward selection of your treatment or specialty chemical process aid.

As environmental standards for disposal of waste materials is becoming stricter, the fabric liner is proving the economical and practical solution to the rubber industry's needs.
Liners can be reused without retreatment or they can be cleaned or retreated and reused over and over, assuming the integrity of the base fabric. In our experience a well-cared-for liner may have a life span of 5-10 years or more.
We can retreat various used and wrinkled liners that have been previously treated, or in the case of olefins; polyethylene and polypropylene - previously untreated. Following the cleaning process and reapplication of treatment coating when necessary, drying the fabric on our tenter frame with width tension is the only effective way to eliminate recurrent wrinkles and ensure consistent width tolerance.
